Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) representatives visit Imam Hossein Hospital
Representatives of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) visited Imam Hossein Medical Center to extend bilateral cooperation on Monday, December 15, 2019. Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) is a Japanese independent international government agency active in the field of human security, quality and economic development and investment, focused on reducing the gap between urban and rural communities, protecting the environment, managing water resources and preventing natural disasters. JICA is also keen to contribute to the development of human resources in Iran through the transfer of Japanese technical skills and knowledge. To this end, JICA International visits Imam Hossein Hospital facilities and medical equipment spaces for cardiac and peripheral angiography, endoscopy and echocardiography. This will provide for the establishment of bilateral technical cooperation in the near future.
The delegation consisted of representatives from the Japanese Embassy, and the head and deputyof the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the deputy director of the Middle East Bureau, which were closely acquainted with different parts of the hospital.
